How to reach the apartments
To reach Appartamenti Franco from the port of Portoferraio, once you disembark from the ferry, leave the port area and continue along the main road heading south-west on Provincial Road SP24, following the signs for Procchio and Marina di Campo.
After about 10–15 minutes by car, pass the tourist village of Procchio and continue towards Marina di Campo for approximately another 5 km along Provincial Road SP25.
Once you reach Marina di Campo, turn onto Provincial Road SP25 in the direction of Cavoli / Seccheto / Fetovaia and continue along the scenic road that runs alongside the beautiful Costa del Sole for about 10 minutes.
The first village you will encounter is Cavoli, whose beach can already be seen from the panoramic road. After about 5 minutes by car, you will arrive in Seccheto.
To reach Località Serone in Vallebuia, continue past the village of Seccheto and drive uphill along the provincial road towards Vallebuia for about 3 km, then turn right at the end onto Via del Serone.
Cavoli
Cavoli is the most popular seaside village of Elba and is appreciated by the tourists. The name comes from the story of Cavoli at the time of the ancient Romans, because in Cavoli were the granite quarries (Cave).
Cavoli is the place where you can swim as the first, even before the bathing season, because it is oriented south and also because the granite rocks warm up quickly. The beach consists of granite sand. There are bathing Establishments and also free beach spots. On the beach there are rentals, bars and restaurants.
Seccheto
Seccheto is a village on the south coast of the municipality of Campo nell’Elba, this charming village is situated right on the sandy beach. In the village you will find food, fruits and vegetables, bakery, pharmacy, bars and restaurants.
Locality Serone
Vallebuia is a hill located behind the village Seccheto, in the municipality of Campo dell’Elba. From Vallebuia it is not far to various hiking trails and mountain bike routes.
